Love, Death, and Robots, stylised Love, Death, + Robots, is a streaming anthology television show produced by Netflix with one released season and one announced. The first season has two episodes based on Alastair Reynolds stories:
- Zima Blue (episode) based on Zima Blue (short story), and
- Beyond the Aquila Rift (episode) based on Beyond the Aquila Rift (short story)
The two episodes don't have a single episode number each, but rather four each, since Netflix experimented with having multiple watch orders. Thus one might watch one before the other, or vice versa. The plots of the two stories are independent of each other and the other episodes in the season, and likewise neither of the short stories are part of any preexisting fictive universes as much of Reynolds' other writings are (although Zima Blue shares a character, Cassie Clay, with another otherwise unrelated short story, The Real Story).
